Hi everyone. This is my latest build. It’s a 15” archtop. It is all hand carved/shaped with a Sitka Spruce top (thanks Brent from Alaska Specialty Woods), Mahogany back and sides (one piece back), flame Maple bindings, Rosewood fretboard, Mahogany neck, and Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle Headstock veneer. There are two pickups, the neck pickup is a Kent Armstrong Slimbucker and the modified bridge has a Rich Barbera transducer saddle. The Barbera produces an amazing acoustic guitar sound and the Armstrong a great jazz through to blues sound. It is wired with two volumes only. The Barbera has such a good output that you can blend the two without needing a preamp driving it. I used the Schaller thumb wheels for the pots. Spray is Nitro. I’m calling the colour a blood burst.

That is gorgeous. Love everything about it especially the color with its subtle burst.

Nicely done Martin. Nice sleek look. I like the treatment of the brass tailpiece holder. Is that a brass strap holder? I've wondered about putting a strap holder on. I don't have a strap; I sit down and play; but it would be easy to put on, and it looks more finished.
I haven't given in to electronics yet.

Hi Ken, Thanks! The strap holder and the tailpiece are both Gold (Brass). So far I haven't ventured to standing up and playing her yet. It's all been sitting down but I do want the option. The pickups will hopefully get a workout soon.

Probably because I was too keen to get the photos done! They are now sitting correctly.
