Hi everyone,
This is my first guitar build attempt. I jointed my top plates and glued them together with tite bond original about three weeks ago. Plates are thicknessed to 1/8". I've cut out the rough outline. I discovered today that the glue joint separated for about three inches on the face side but not quite as far up on what is to be the inside. How would I go about repairing this? Can it even be repaired? I don't know how I would even clamp it since the outlines already cut out. Could I just try to get as much glue down into it from both sides as I can then stretch tape across for a little clamping pressure? Should I just cut it in half and re-joint? Everything was going great up to this point!

I discovered the search bar and found an explanation of what to do :). Someone's already asked this question. Sites like this and nice folks that are willing to help are just awesome.
