I polished the finish and glued on the bridge. I used a router to route off the finish then cleaned it off with sandpaper and chisel and razor blade while taping up other areas to protect the finish. I did it kinda fast and the finish is still a little soft so I did leave some imprints in the finish with the tape but you'd have to be really close in the right light to see it. I also routed a ledge in the bridge itself to allow the bridge to sit a little higher over the finish resulting in a clean appearance. I drilled two holes beforehand so I can glue up the bridge without fear of the bridge moving while gluing (would be a real nightmare!)

Next I will install tuner and nut then string it up and hopefully it will sound good... This guitar is going to be delivered to Afghanistan by a missionary team... I hope the Taliban doesn't harass them for no reason.
