There's just something about a classic archtop...

I, too, really like the pickguard, and then thought, wouldn't it be cool if the pattern was echoed in the "F" hole? but he wouldn't want to hear that!

I have been reading Kellerman's new book and looking at the beautiful archtops that he has amassed.

To me archtops can at times be a bit gaudy with seemingly too many design features that may not compliment each other.

But this guitar Dave is pure premium in all respects and your artist's eye is a very good one indeed. The pick guard is very cool and well worth your extra effort with trying new shapes with CAD first.

An absolutely stunning guitar Dave my friend! [:Y:] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

Stunning, Dave! I wish it were mine! One of these days I may venture down that path.

Wow Dave! Looking at those pictures plus some I've seen from you in the past.... I'd say you got this thing figured out!! :) Very nice job! What did you finish/spray it with? And how did you get that nice honey hue? BTW, something I've always wanted to ask.... Do you find that your archtops "open up" after "X" amount of playing or time? If so, have you quantified it in any way? Great work!
