Ok, I for sure got a little squirlly with the template thing, and I had (sadly) misgivings with Kevin Gallager issue, and few appreciated my POV on Global Warming. Hell, I even got misconstrued on a Biblical reference and single payer health insurance. One night, while enjoying a bit of vino, I screwed up on a post about epoxy sensitivity, and despite several attempts to appologize, no dice.

Yet, through it all, not once did Lance and Brock chastize me(that I recall). Oh, I got beat up, and I am a big boy and can handle myself.

But lately, there has been too much crap thrown at L&B, IMHO. I think it's time too say thank you. Thanks for providing this forum. Thanks for keeping it cheap, or free for the majority. Thanks for tapatalk for us iPhone users. Thanks for the auctions that give some of us a chance to work with legendary zoot without the legendary price. Thanks for providing a forum without the heavy handed moderation some forums live under. Thanks for the tools, advice, and products that help us fledgling luthiers to grow and succeed. Please do not stop or give up on us as a sometimes ungrateful or misguided group.

Just, thanks.

Ball us in your court gents. Add ur positive 2 cents please.

Mike

PS: Edit: I could NOT have built that Harp Guitar pictured in my avatar without you all or this site. That was my second build ever. The success of that build proves that this site, this community, and the folks that run it are an invaluable resource.

Who are these Brock and Lance people to which you refer? I've never heard of them.

Yep, Lance and Brock are the ones! It's hard to believe that the rule we most often forget here is the first one, and that is "Be Nice"!

This place is a valuable resource for me as a beginner. There is a wealth of knowledge here that would be devastating to lose.
However, this place is also great because of it's members. There is a community here, full of great people, all more than willing to share and to help a n y o n e who asks for it. Though I will probably never meet any of you, I hold many of you in high regard. My life would be diminished without this place.
Thanks to all of you, and to Lance and Brock, for taking the time to make this place what it is.

Mike must be at the vino again. :P
My thanks go out to L&B and also to all those who have provided a forum whether it's this one or the others that came before or after it and those who contribute to them and shared their knowledge here or in other formates. When you get down to it a forum is only as good as it's contributing members in the community.

Why do need to save the original Padma? I thought they had a successful captive breeding program in Tibet and were churning out several new Padmas a month now!
