I think I tried to spray nitro when it was too humid. There appears to be cloudiness in the finish. Will this go away? Do need to do something like use a hair drier on it? Any guidance you can give would be appreciated...

You need a can of blush eraser (Stew Mac has it). Spray it on the blush areas and it disappears immediately

You could go to Lowe's or some other hardware type store, and buy a quart of lacquer retarder and follow the directions on the container..

Before you go buying anything try spraying a really light coat that's ~90% thinner, 10% lacquer. I've never used blush eraser, but too much retarder can make it take a really long time to cure.

I spray lightly with 100% thinner. Most often 1 shot will clear it up but sometimes two applications several minutes apart are needed.

I strongly suggest you wait for the humidity to drop instead of using retarder.

Okay, I found the Jet Blush Eraser at my local Woodcraft store. Thanks for the info. bliss That's why I love this forum... So how soon after I apply the Blush Eraser can I re-apply additional coats of nitro? I guess you need to let it cure for a period of time before you can lay more coats down... right?
