Here is a all Australian Blackwood weissenborn style 1 copy with Indian Rosewood appointments I have been working on for the past six months. Shellac, french polish finish.

This morning I strung it up and I still have a smile :D on my face.

Here are a few pictures and thanks for your interest.

A sound file will be along shortly!

Nice job! You did a great job with the fit & finish. Looks cool without bindings.
Did you add a bit of depth to the body? Or are my eyes a little off today?
I love building Weissenbornes. No fussing with those nuicancy frets!

G'day Daniel,

Thanks for your comments! The depth is standard. I do like the simplicity of the style one. The lack of binding adds a vintage feel IMO.

Cheers

Alan

Beautifull work ! I to like the look without bindings , To me it add a vintage touch as well . I do like the "extras" people put in and the inlays etc: , however sometimes it seems to detract from the builders ability with wood . So it is refreshing to me to see , just good quality wood work at times! Very well done !!

Great job Alan!
I like the look without the bindings.
I'm surprised your arm still works after the f.p.
Glad it sounds good!
