Thanks guys for the feedback!

The sound port is of my own making with the wings being in the shape of the capital letter D and the body being and L for my initials. The wife and I thought long and hard to come up with a trademark for the guitars I build.

Honey shellac does marvelous things.

I used it on some light, striped african mahogany and it turned into gold.
