Here's a Small Jumbo I just finished with Ziricote and Alpine Italian Spruce. This was a tough one to let go!!

Very pretty guitar, I also love Ziricote and have a couple sets but have not yet done a build with it. I looked at you web site, cool guitars pictured there also.

Fred

Thank you very much guys! Fred, I'm sure you're going to enjoy it as well. Cocobolo was a one of my favorites for tone and look, until i used the ziricote. Now i have a customer that saw this guitar and liked it so much, he decided to go with it too. I was lucky enough to get a nice billet of it, so I was able to re-saw 2 backs from it. The new one i'm building is very similar in appearance but with a little more sap.

Josh

Pretty as a picture Josh! [:Y:] I recently built a curly maple OM with a ziricote fretboard and bridge that i won"t part with. That must have been real hard to part with for sure.Bet she sounded real nice. :)

Beautiful work, Josh! I've used Ziricote on fretboards and bridges, and I really like it! It's a little prices in back/side sets, but I DO like the look of it!

I'm in lust Josh...that is a mighty fine looking guitar. I can see how it would be hard to let go.

I love the voluptuous shape, and it's a fabulous canvas for showing that incredible figure in the back. What's not to like about it? How could any wood lover resist it? I think you hit it out of the park!

Yeah, Mexican Crackwood is one of my favorites too, in spite of it's propensity to fracture all to heck.
