I have a Fender (pretty recent) that I want to date. I haven't found info anywhere on that serial.
Here it is: Model: JG12CD/12 NS Serial: 01056992 Made in Korea

Fender's acoustic line is tough to date. Mainly cause most all of them are outsourced to china, indonesia, or Korea for the builds and they institute their own dating system. There probably isn't a way to find out the exact made date on this, I'll check my service center books and see if there isn't anything to help ya. But I don't remember there being anything on the acoustic series...
