idunno how long after spraying on the liquid is it necessary to wait before bending????

At least till it's dry. Give it a chance to penetrate and do it's thing.

I usually wet the boards down in the evening, and let them
dry overnight. As Bob said, the chemical needs a chance to
penetrate into the wood.

Are there any reasons not to use super soft? I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I thought that for those who have no experience with it, ( like me ) some guide lines for it's use would be helpful.

I used it on Waterfall figured Bubinga on a couple guitars (OM style with cutaway ) and Quilted African Mahogany on one and I don't think I would have been successful without using it, even with it I got a slight amount of tearing in the inside of the waist and cutaway, but so little a few drops of CA made it OK.

I am using it now for the first time on a cutaway with bubinga!!!! no cracking heard as I was turning the press!!!!!!!
I thinned the cutaway part to about .068
