Taken from a advertised sale of a 1976 Martin D35

I like call Martin and "Ask for Mike" bit, it made me smile so I thought I would share it with you

It is currently selling for $3000.00

That is a 460% increase in value over 36 years

I am not good at compound interest but an avg of 12.7% a year is not a bad investment

Increase in price, not value. According to inflation calculators, the value of today's dollar is 24.6 cents, compared to a 1976 dollar.
