Any thoughts on the Taylor (or other maker) reusable pickguard? Taylor seems to indicate that this pickguard is not that compatible with their older nitro finishes... How do you think it would do with a EM6000 finish?

If you're referring to the Klingon brand, I'd be wary -- I used one on a fairly fresh EM6000 finish (buffed out maybe a month before), and it damaged the finish. Made it look like there was adhesive residue on the guitar, but it was actually bubbled finish. I do think they recommend waiting at least 6 mos before applying to a nitro finish. I'd take that same advice for waterborne.

eek Thanks for the heads up Ken. I have a Klingon brand somewhere around the house (I couldn't remember the name). I was trying very hard to find it, but it sounds like I should stop the search immediately...
