I've made another in a long line of mistakes. Trying to get my neck flush with the sides, I'm pretty sure that the neck is going to be too far into the joint (not flush with the top). What are my options?

1. Shim the joint?
2. laminate a sheet on top of the existing neck between it and the fretboard?
3. Anything else?

I had to shim the tenon on my first, too. I just used some mahogany veneer I had laying around. Piece o' cake.
