Inlay work!! I imagine you could do some really interesting rosette stuff. Fingerboard inlay. Perhaps even the butt wedge, though you would have to create a "platform" for it to poke up through. Same for the fingerboard.

You could also use it in conjunction with router guides to create perfect positve and negatives for wood inlay.

Such a cool idea. I hope it materializes.
