Wow, nice work gentlemen! They sure don't look like $150 instruments. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, great work!

The design looks really old school in a good way,
and reminds me of some of the Gibson tenor guitars,
little weird but very cool.

Congrats!

Man,
Those (instruments) are nice!
They look like old vintage instruments that were well taken care of.
Love the finishes.
I'm still hacking out solid bodies and I am still afraid to even attempt an acoustic build.
The pics are inspiring and I hope some day to attempt a "real" instrument.
Dan

Well done gentlemen. Not sure about the models holding the mandos, they look a little off, but the instruments look very nice.

Those look great I've never seen nor heard of such an instrument. Are there any recordings posted?

Not everyone agrees...why in the challenge thread, Beth told us we were pretty.

Beth Mayer wrote:
Very pretty, boys!

See?

OK...I could understand some folks thinking that she was talking about the mandolins...

Yes, it's not hard to get confused in this instance. Aside from the placement of the comma in Beth's sentence, the presence of you and Filippo in the picture is what is throwing me off. laughing6-hehe
Plus, the mandos look pretty nice, adding to the confusion.

Well there's a pair of bad boys, and the mandos look great too. Nice fork fella's. Amazing what a hundred and fifty dollars and a hundred and fifty hours will get you. I think you two should do a duet. Doesn't have to be anything fancy but would be cool to see the 2 builders playing the 2 instruments they just finished sweating over. Even if you don't, they look great! Nice work.

Cheers,
Danny

Nice photos too. What kind of camera?
