:D Right-you-are Waddy bro! In fact I seem to remember being photoshopped on the OLF early on in a French maids outfit - it wasn't pretty I tell ya.... The wiskers were a real turn off... :D

Hey Charlie my friend!! It sounds like you have pretty good standards if I can come close to them! I remember you from a few years back and it's great to see you here too. Hope your puppy in your avatar is doing well. My pal Sony who you may remember is getting old, fat, lazy, and only wants to eat and poop! I'm jealous! :D Great to see you here Charlie and thanks much for the best wishes!

"Hey Joe" is both one of my favorite songs AND one of my favorite people! Hope all is well with you Joe and please do call and let's catch up?

Hey JF hope all is well with you too! Remember Rick Turner who shamed us all into considering learning the repair side? That's what happened to me and I actually like repair now as much if not more than building. They are both great in my view but the mind set is a bit different. Thanks for posting JF and great to hear from you too!

Tony from NYC is one of my newer friends and we have spoken on the phone and I have to tell ya that Tony is a GREAT guy! His Sandy relief project was/is an excellent idea and very generous on your part too Tony. As I have said before you remind me of me a bit (no offense intended.... :D ) because your passion for building AND production rate is pretty hard to match. Thanks for the well wishes Tony bro!

Hi Clay and thanks for checking in with us in this thread - it's great to hear from you too. I remember you too from the past of the OLF and hope that all is well with ya. Glad too to hear about your black faced baritone of which I'll bet she will be stunning. I have always loved black guitars as you know and last week picked up a black American Strat to use with my "Black Tiger" L-OO when I play out. I do this open mic thing in a near by town at a vets bar and we have a great time - a bunch of old farts reliving their youth, or trying to, and likely failing miserably but it's a lot of fun! When your baritone is finsihed and you post pics please if you will remember to PM me so I can check it out too? Thanks!

Hi Barry I remember you well from some of the early days on the OLF and the MIMF. To hear from you that you respect the path that I took to learn the trade is a huge compliment. I remember your posts well, always adding value, rich with repair experience, and short and to the point. Wish I could do that! :D What you may have not known is that to many of us here your posts were times that we shut the heck up and listened to what you had to say. I never met you in person but would love to some day and thank you in person for helping me and countless others over and over again. There are some folks on the OLF or any forum who post and then there are folks who really, really add value to others and you were one of those and I thank you kindly for your help to me and others.

Chuck!! :D Jimi is still here just hiding behind my old Mac that is being decommissioned from my home/shop use to go to our new business. Hendrix will never not grace my shop in so much as I have arrested development from my teens when I listened to Hendrix over and over again!

Hi Arnt!!! I hope you are still building your superb guitars!!! I also hope that the family is well and happy. Many of my ideas for my shop came from you and your shop and I thank you too for sharing as you always do and did! I've always been of the belief that you are a "natural" craftsman with a very high level of ability. I'm not by any means and as such you've had my admiration for a very long time my friend. Thanks for saying hello and here is wishing you the very best too!!! Oh, once a week I have to go to meetings where I have to stand up and declare to the room that I am a clean-a-holic.... :D Wish there were more babes there.....

Jim K! :D My friend who builds absolutely beautiful classical guitars!!! Hope that all is well with you too and in academia as well! Thanks for the well wishes Jim and back at ya too wishing you the very best as well!

Wow, it's Hesh! Nice to see you, so to speak.
That looks like a great space and a good combination of people. Best of luck and do stick around if you have time.
Jim

My pleasure Hesh. Thank you as well. I have only one correction to make though. My production is not very high, but my build threads get ridiculously long because I fill them with goat pics and nonsense which makes it appear as though I have actually built dozens of guitars. Its just a lot of goat pics and goat humor and very little guitar building! laughing6-hehe

Hi Jim!!! It's been a while but I hope that all is well with you!

I'm still using some of the CF that I sourced from you and it's great stuff! I also remember your superb guitars when I met you at Healsburg 2007. I also appreciated some of the advice that you shared with me then and thank you kindly for your sharing too.
