Just curious, is a 2 hp cyclone more efficient than a standard 2 hp dust collector?

Thanks
Richard

What do you mean by "more efficient"?

I have a 2 hp cyclone Grizzly
the filter is a piece of crapola They don't last and take a lot of maintenance. Not a good sander for a belt sander. Look for a bag unit.

A cyclone was easily one of the best additions to my shop. A well designed unit will take dust out before it reaches a filter so it never clogs. A clogged filter completely ruins a dust collection system.

Another thumbs up for Oneida cyclones - I've got the 3HP Dust Gorilla. Best tool I ever bought.
