Thanks for all the nice reply's guys - I really appreciate the feedback.

Interesting comments on the type of Bubinga. I purchased this from a reputable vendor and it was listed as waterfall bubinga. But it certainly doesn't look like your waterfall bubinga Mattia - I love yours! I need to find some that looks like yours. This is the first time I've used Bubinga so I was relying on the vendor as to what type it was.

Near the end of last week, I finally took the guitar into a local guitar store that was willing to sell the guitar for me. They were also gracious enough to put it on the end of the rack - it's the first acoustic you see as you walk into their acoustic section. Sweet. But I'm going to have to admit something, it was really weird taking the guitar in and leaving it at the store. It was kinda like leaving your child behind somehow. Lol. As it's my first scratch build, I've grown pretty attached to the guitar. Wonder how I'll feel when she sells! :?

Beth - the soundboard is sitka spruce.

Here she is in the shop :

That's really great, Rob! I wouldn't have the confidence to put one of mine in a store yet....I admire that!!!

You have set the bar really high for us first time builders. I only hope mine comes out in one piece but know it will not be anything n like what you have done.

Well done and good luck with the sale. If mine comes out in one piece and actually plays I don't think I will be able to let it go.

Good luck with the sale. Very cool pictures and guitar.

Chuck
