It was tough hogging out the inside. Great tone though.

Distinct split between the upper and lower bouts. Nice design, Tony! Will you be doing a Bo Derek model as well?

Not wanting to be prudish about this Tony but this brought to mind the words in the John Prime song “Speed of the sound of Loneliness”.

“It's a mighty mean and a dreadful sorrow, It's crossed the evil line today” ;) :)

I can see this thread getting shut down in a hurry. Its only a matter of time before in depth discussions about tail wedges and f holes start.

It's an eclectic design, to be sure, but I think the f-holes should be on the top, not the back.
Could we see it that way? beehive

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

While I wrestle with the large number of jokes trying to get out (all of which would aid in getting this shut down) I will take time out to notice a flaw in workmanship. There seems to be signs of a crack developing towards the bottom of the plate.

This particular model is quite expensive to own, but you can rent her by the hour....

I'm sure many here would like to "make" that beauty, though that wouldn't sit well with our wives! laughing6-hehe

Truss rod adjustment is always a problem with those darned archtops.

I thought that one had a self adjusting neck.
