I bought some from Karin Rost for a special project and was very dissatisfied. The marquetry had several small pieces missing and the voids were filled with a rubbery glue that looked like dried rubber cement. If that is the type of glue they use to put the banding together, I would be worried about heat bending and long term strength. Also the shipping costs was very high from Germany.
