You volunteering?

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

I am getting all the same symptoms. I keep hoping its a Chrome thing and that a chrome update will fix it.

I thought so too.... :D

I acutally had an endoscopy too.... at the very same time.... That's where they stick a tube down your throat with camera and go into your digstive tract and look around.

Fortunately... they put me completely out and I have no memory of anything but they did tell me when I woke up that I would not shut up and they wanted to know who Martin and Gibson were.... :D

Everything came out fine, fortunately... but now I have to take the purple pill for acid reflex. It still blows my mind how much some folks have made out of stuff that those who came before us just put up with. Acid reflex, resetless leg syndrome.... everyone has to have an angle.... ;)

I can now see what the attraction was for Michael Jackson - the stuff knocks you right out in seconds!

I thought I didn't have to worry about this glitch, because I am running Safari on a Mac, but I ran into it last night. Refreshing didn't help. I had to quit the browser and start over.

Computers are really great, except when they're not.

I've also been fighting this issue. I did find out that if I return to the forum by clicking on "Board index » Luthiers Forum Rooms » Guitar Building Forum" at the bottom of the page the threads are active- probably because clicking on that hotspot does reload that page.

I had the same procedure combo last year, as well. They gave me a dvd of the 'scope! laughing6-hehe As long as there are some decent reruns on TV, I won't be giving it a gander, so to speak.
