I am rebuilding a 1933 L-00 and need a set of bridge pins and an end pin that look like Gibson pins. Black and unslotted, no dot. I have not seen any at the usual outlets, and ebay is so hard to find something on.

Any sources?

Stew- Mac has some nice unslotted black pins that are very accurate as to size. Not sure if they are relevant to what you are looking for. Have never used the pins John has quoted so can't say anything about their accuracy. But there are lots of pins out there that are a pain to fit because all the pins in the set are different sizes...........very little difference but enough to be a problem. The Stew -Mac pins are not like that and a pleasure to use.

Ed I've never seen or found any vintage, Gibson type pins available anywhere so I suspect that they would have to be turned by us or someone who makes pins. Unslotted pins are available but not exact reproductions of the L-OO, Gibson pins.

Thanks for this Clinch, I wasn't aware of these guys what ever their names are.... Looks like they make some really nice vintage reproductions and historical instruments, some of the best that I've seen. Very cool!

I also was not aware the our friends at Elderly had very cool vintage pins either - also very cool.

Every time I go to Elderly my focus seems to be on the instruments and I never get to the parts sections of the store.

I make bridge and end pins for other builders and can match shapes and sizes accurately.

I likely cannot compete with the pricing of people who have these sorts of thing in stock though.

Henkes & Blazer (through Elderly) have some that they say are appropriate for an exact match for a 1940's Gibson. Since I am not trying for absolute authenticity, I will go with these - thanks much all.
