Hello all! This was a long time coming, but she's finally strung up and purring melifluously.

Long story short, the customer and I wanted to memorialize the Tasmanian Tiger, or Thylacine, (which was eradicated by humans in the early 20th C.) thanks in part to the incredible Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle back and sides, which look very much like a tiger pelt. We ran with the theme and decided to use their paw prints at the 12th fret, and a big inlay on the headstock. The good news for the thylacine is that they may be one of the first animals to be revived through genetic cloning. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
Here are the specs:

Odalisque Model
Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle b&s
Mastergrade Alpine Spruce top
Red Spruce (top) and mahogany (back) bracing
25.25" x 25.75" fan
Ebony bindings, bevels, fb, headplate, backstrap
Bois de Rose bridge, BRW bridge plate
Gotoh 510 21:1 tuners
Cardinal lacquer

I'm waiting to receive fossilized walrus Ivory bridge pins. I'll also be installing a K&K Pure Western Mini pickup before it goes out the door. Thanks for looking!

Nice looking guitar Ken.
The volute looks unique and also a lot of work. Like the bevels too.

Great looking guitar! That set of Myrtle is amazing! Love the rosette and the ebony really makes it look rich and classy.

Thanks everybody! I'm enjoying getting to play it in for a bit before it goes away, and getting it into the hands of some much better players than me. Proper photos and A/V are forthcoming.
