Anyone made an adapter for a pencil grinder to fit the StewMac base? Shouldn't be hard but don't want to reinvent the wheel either.

I just made a simple one last week. A piece is 3/4" acrylic with a hole the size of the grinder shaft and a set screw from the side to hold the grinder in place. Then just drilled and tapped two holes throughly the acrylic and into the bar on the router base. Works great, and I can still use the Drexel if I choose by just removing the acrylic plate.

Great idea...not what I was thinking but I like what you suggest better since it leaves the base intact to use the Dremel again.
Thanks much and yes...I will steal your design.

Try this, I think I used a plastic bushing from some old electrical conduit that was in my junk pile.
It is very firm, and if I recall was a wrestle to get in.

Thanks....two good ideas. That's what is so special about this place....free exchange of differing solutions.
