How long should a water slide decal logo be allowed to dry before coating with nitro lacquer?

Just did a few for a guy recently on a repair job. The instruction said 24hrs (as has already been stated). After that I proceeded with my regular finishing schedule.

Thanks, Josh and Mike. I waited, i sprayed it, and it looks great. A few more coats needed to blend it in.

My experience is that the first coat you spray on should be light.

I once sprayed a heavy first cost on and the decal edges lifted.
