Welcome and I agree, what a beautiful neck! Thought I'd put this quote from his testimonials page for you all to read...I spit my coffee all over my desk when I read this!

“Outstanding work! Did you sand them or do they come off the machine this smooth? [ed: they come off the machine that smooth] Amazing! I can't wait to weigh them later. They seem really light which will be perfect!...I think that if those bridges were women, I would be trying to have sex with them! ” Tony Costa

I have been using Andy's necks and bridges for some time for my guitars, resonator guitars and ukuleles and couldn't be more pleased. I am very fortunate to live a mile away from Andy and can attest to his expert knowledge and capabilities with a CNC mill as well as creating jigs and fixtures to exacting standards.

I'm of the school that thinks neck carving should be a CNC thing given that CNC exists. Not everyone will agree. Andy's neck work is amazing. And accommodating. We went several rounds before I was happy with the diamond volute design. Sent me mock ups. Peghead logo inlay work was precise. Highly recommend his work. That neck above looks sanded. As it should be. I want my cncd necks arriving with room to make adjustments. I did my own tenon cuts. Andy marked the stop location.

Andy does superb work and we have been fortunate enough to have the value and benefits of his services for several years now. It's not unusual for us in our restoration work to need something, often a one-off such as a replacement fret board but of a different material that does not get one a cavity search at an international border crossing....;)

Andy has also spent time in our shop because he is keen to learn all that he can about this Loofing stuff and when Andy is around it's always a good time too.

Highly recommended, five stars, Andy does GREAT work!!!

Oh how I miss Tony around here. I think what he meant to say was "I think that if the bridge pin holes were a bit smaller, I would be trying . . ." beehive

Andy made me a lovely 12 fret, slot head neck with a volute out of a special piece of oak I sent him - wonderful:

And here it is with a finish in it:
