Lots to like about that one Fred. And a fundamentally beautiful tone.

What's the neck finish?

Very nice Fred! What was the players impression of the Bevels for comfort as well as your thoughts on the sound port for this guitar?

Paul really likes the feel of the arm rest bevel and rib rest, he played my 1st armrest guitar several years ago and predicted I would be making a lot of them. He is my unofficial quality control department, I think the only a couple or 3 of the guitars I have built have been tried by him. He also has my 1st Fan Fret.

As fir the sound port it is excellent on this guitar, I have found that smaller ports are just as effective as large ones and are nicer to look at. One of my favorite diversions while playing a sound port guitar is to watch my right hand through it and the sound hole. The only drawback is the inside of the guitar needs to be flawless as everyone looks inside through the port.

Looks good and sounds good Fred. What did you use for finish on the neck, it looks like a satin finish?

Steve the neck is Brite-tone satin and the body Brite-tone gloss. I think the neck is a bit rougher feeling than I like, I may mix some gloss into the satin if I use this product again.

Another great example of a not so ordianary tonewood. I really like how black looks under that satin finish. Very nice. [:Y:] [:Y:] [:Y:]
