Just wanted to let other OLFers know that I have not posted much. I have been very ill with insomnia , on BP meds and type 2 diabetes. Getting old at 68 is tough and even harder when you work solo. I am slowly trying to get back on track with the help of my endocrinologist. Thanks for your support. When I am better I will start selling off a lot of my tools and wood.I have a lot of violin and bowmaking tools for sale , besides the OLF bliss classifieds. does anyone have a suggestion of where to advertise ?? Thanks.

I am very sorry to hear about your health problems, Ernie, and hope you have a turn around soon.
There are many Facebook groups that have buy and sell, and I'm sure that there are violin and archery among them. Craigslist might be another place to sell your goods. Wishing you all the best!

Alex

Shalom Ernie my Brother! I am very, very sorry to hear of the health issues with you and here is wishing you a very speedy recovery as well.

I've found the OLF classifieds to be an excellent venue for lightening the load of decent, quality offerings and these guys (men and women) tend to be a real pleasure to deal with as well.

Recently we put something on eBay and the buyer ended up being an OLFer as well - go figure!

Feel better Ernie and if you want to chat a bit I'm in the shop next week and would love to speak with ya too.

Hi Ernie, I've missed seeing you around. Don't have any new suggestions for you but I hope your health improves and good luck selling the violin tools.

Bummer Ernie, I hope you are back in the shop soon. Keep posting and commenting, I always read and enjoy your stuff.

At 71 I can commiserate.

Ernie, I might be interested in some of the violin making tools. I plan on starting my 1st fiddle this summer sometime. I don't have much specialty tools for the job. I am planning on making a hardanger fiddle. I have wood drying at the moment. My father is 73 and is a wood carver with Norwegian heritage. He wanted to do the scroll, and I would build the body. Father and son build, something special we have been talking about for a couple years. Anyway I'll PM you and maybe theres something I could use. Jason

I can't say I've had the pleasure of meeting you, but I certainly hope you get back to a healthier place! Keep up the good fight.
