After doing some test panels of Enduro-Var, Cardinal lacquer, and Shellac side by side, I personally didn't care for the look of Enduro-Var. I thought it looked a bit green and didn't refract the details as well as the lacquer or shellac. I love the idea of Enduro-Var, and it was extremely easy to work with. I just didn't care for the look of the finished product when compared with the others. I posted a thread on the experiment here.
