My friend Ollie turned me onto Droplight Industries over the weekend.

John at Droplight makes some really cool and innovative products for Guitar fans and Luthiers. He's offering custom amp badges which could be for cases too, clocks, key holders and some cool stands shaped like guitars for headphones.

So first a huge thanks to Brad Combs for helping me out. I decided to go with these Droplight badges instead though because they come ready to attach with matching screws. Mine will be matte white "Heshtone" in Marshall's font and with the two screws also having their heads painted matte white.

For one of these with 2" high letters the price was $35 and they are made one at a time from stainless steel. I ordered two.

Then he has vintage tweed custom badges so I ordered two of those too for the 5 watt 57 Champ I built three months ago and the 15 watt Tweed Deluxe I built two months ago.

And since I have three tweeds in my studio I just had to order the dang clock..... That will have a Heshtone badge on it too. I know, I know I am hearing Carol singing "you're so vain" in my head.

Anyway I wanted to turn on others here to this company and John who owns it. I'm very impressed so far and he worked with me yesterday to get my order right and on a Sunday too.

Sweet! I’m glad you found something that worked out. Pierre would benefit from that too. We were chatting in PM about getting him set up, but it’s better to go this route for sure. I was just helping out for sport, I have no interest in trying to make stuff like this as a business venture.

Yes they are and he's great as well. I bought the clock, two small tweed amp badges and two large amp badges. I have a feeling that the Marshall like clock will be coming here too someday...

But his headphone holders are cool too!!
